My Love for Uptown Country

Today I’m sharing my LOVE for Uptown Country throughout my own house.

Jenny Grumbles, the owner is amazing to work with and can create anything you desire. She will commission pieces, order rugs or update that perfect vintage piece you’ve been looking for.

Most of the rugs in my house are from her store. Dash and Albert rugs are my favorite! They are extremely durable, come in custom sizes and can even be washed in the washing machine! Below is the Fair Isle Ocean/Ivory in our playroom and it still looks brand new even though I’ve had for quite a while. The Brindle Stripe Sea is in our bedroom and it’s so soft to put your feet on first thing every morning. This rug is much lighter in person than online. Dash and Albert rugs are always my first go to for any house I’m working on – Jenny can order anything you need or want!

Can we talk about how talented Jenny is when it comes to commissioning art work?

Several years ago I was, actually still am, obsessed with pineapples and wanted them everywhere. She painted these for my dining room and I absolutely love them. They just belong in there!

When I found out I was pregnant with AB I knew I wanted Jenny to commission my wedding dress for the nursery. I showed her several pictures, we talked about colors and then she created the most amazing portrait of my dress. It now hangs on the wall in AB’s nursery where I can see it each time I walk through the door. It is the perfect piece that I hope will stay in my little girl’s room and is a conversation starter for years to come.

Jenny even painted the lamp in AB’s nursery!

From the rug in my master bedroom to the shower curtain in my daughters bathroom, to the owl salt and pepper shakers I gave as a gift, Uptown Country is my go to for any thing and everything!

Whether you need something painted, a new rug or the perfect gift – Uptown Country is the best place to go. Jenny is not only a resource of great finds, but a great DIY/decorator & mommy friend as well.

  1. I love Jenny’s work, too! I have several pieces from her store in my house. Someday I would like for her to paint a portrait of my grandkids!!!
