Artwork for Kids Rooms

I don’t know about you, but every time I start working on a nursery or kids room I have the hardest time finding artwork. It’s no secret I enjoy using large – blown up, massive- pictures of the kids I’m working on but every now and then you need simple and unique. I’m happy to report I’ve come across the most adorable prints in the last month or so for a couple of projects.

First up, I have the privilege of designing a nursery for a sweet baby boy that will be here in November. His mom really didn’t want a theme, which is OK by me! I found these adorable flash card sets and knew we had to use his initials.  They come in different sizes so I opted for the 8×10 and added a mat and frame. I’m guessing this little boy is going to love animals.

While we are doing a makeover for the nursery, the family is also moving big sister into a new room.  Her current nursery  is butterflies and just needed a few things to freshen it up.  Ob-sessed with all things watercolor right now and this butterfly stole my heart when I found it.  I mean – how adorable and it’s a piece that can grow with sweet big sister.

I just LOVE, I mean LOVE these prints. I’m getting the opportunity to work with brother and sister twins right now as they are moved into their own rooms. This transportation art series just screams BOY to me and I can’t get enough. Etsy has some extremely talented shop owners and each time I find something new I’m just amazed.

Children’s art can be hard to find especially if you are wanting something that will grow with the child. I’ll keep you updated as each of these prints is installed into their permanent homes.
