It’s Friday folks, and I couldn’t be any happier. It’s been a crazy busy week that followed a crazy busy weekend. Grab your coffee and say hello to the weekend!
It’s Fall Y’all……well, kind of. Not sure about you, but I’m ready for a little crisp air in the mornings, and for it to feel like football season. Our chalkboard only gets updated when my mom comes into town, so thankfully she was here at just the right time. When we got home from Arkansas last weekend, I woke up to a new design that will hopefully last until the next time she’s in town. This little nook in our house is such a waste of valuable space, but it’s one of my favorite spots and makes me happy each time I walk by. FYI – we’ve never used that sink!
This little package saves my life on a daily basis. I’m not a product person. I don’t have lip gloss I rave about or a favorite curling iron I can’t live without, but I do keep multiple packages of Stitch Witchery on hand at all times. Just this week I used it to “sew” trim onto a bedskirt. My grandmother introduced it to me several years ago when she got too frustrated trying to teach me the correct way to sew. Now those three sewing machines I own haven’t seen the light of day in many moons. Do yourself a favor and stock up the next time you’re at Target, JoAnn’s or you need something else to fill your Amazon cart. It will literally save your life when the hem comes out of a pair of pants or you need three inches taken off a pair of curtain panels.
If you’ve been reading along for any amount of time, you know that we love us some football in this house. Last night MDub took PB to the Hillcrest game, and PB was more than excited to wear his jersey. My favorite number 84’s, one really snug, one a little too big, I’ll let you decide which is which! Don’t worry – Mdub was just being funny, he didn’t really wear the jersey to the game….although he would have loved to.
If you missed my post on Wednesday, make sure and check it out. Sharing the details of Baby Reed’s SURPRISE nursery was a definite favorite of the week. Some big time buffalo check going on in that room!
