Manic Monday

Welp, another weekend down! In our family, it was an awful, horrible, no good football weekend. Both our teams lost, and it wasn’t pretty at all. After two days of non stop work events, we resolved to just having fun when the game made a turn for the worst. Good times with good friends. I PROMISE those were not our cups!  We literally had just sat down at the table.

Ok, enough about the awful football weekend.

Thankfully, we resurrected the weekend with an amazing Sunday. We had lunch on the lawn after church, then Mdub headed to the Ranger game, while the kids and I headed home for an afternoon of 2.5 hours of nap time……at the same time! This is maybe the 5th time since February this has happened. Thank you Donny & DeeDee for wearing the kids out yesterday. ( I know this is not a great photo, but for some reason I love her face.)

We then joined all our friends at the park for a neighborhood party. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we practiced taking our hilarious group photos again. We finished the afternoon with balloon swords, train rides, and snow cones!

Home to bed we went, but not before a few pictures in our halloween pjs! Hand me downs from your older brother are never that cool, but nothing a big bow can’t fix.
