Halloween Pajamas, Pumpkin books, and Jack-o-lantern Plates, oh my! We’ve been celebrating all things Halloween for the past few weeks and are having a blast doing it. Of course, I’m sure my two have no clue what’s going on, but it’s a fun breakup in the daily routine for this mamma. It’s funny how a small switch up in your day can be exciting for everyone.
When PB was an only child, all 15 months of it, we had new pajamas for every occasion. More than one, I might add! Now that AB has come along, they’re both wearing the same pajamas we had last year. AB is wearing hand-me downs, and PB is stuffed like a turkey!
I promise I’ll do better when Christmas rolls around, but you learn with the first child. Yes, the monogrammed orange and white stripe set is adorable, and I wish I could bring myself to purchase a pair for every season. But the truth is, it’s absolutely crazy to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a pair of pajamas that he’s only supposed to wear for one month. Not to mention, if it weren’t for this blog or for Instagram, no one would even see them.
Ok, I’ll step down off the crazy train and show you my little goblins in their Halloween jammies. PB’s are from a cute little Insta shop, and AB’s are last year’s version of these. We love Hannah Anderson PJs!
Here’s a little flash back to PB last year – same look on face and same pajamas!
I picked up this plate, cup and utensil set several weeks ago. PB eats almost every meal and snack off of the plate and gets really excited when we trust him to drink out of the cup. Sippy cups 99% of time; this cup when I’m in the mood to clean up spills!
I don’t know about you, but if I don’t switch out our books, PB goes to the same one every time. We are still building up our Halloween library, but these have become quick favorites in our house. Thankfully, PB currently loves books, and I can only hope he continues…unlike his mamma.
Notice the series of pictures below – PB sitting and reading while AB has much better things to do. This girl is going to send us over the edge.
My sweet (most of the time) little pumpkins in their Halloween Pajamas reading their Halloween books!
Happy Halloween everyone – only five more sleeps to wear those Halloween PJs!!
