Five on Friday – Friday Favorites

Five on Friday and Friday Favorites – Easter Edition!  Two more days until HE IS RISEN, and we are celebrating….bunny style!

I blogged on Monday about our Friend Hunt. We had so much fun, and hopefully it’s the beginning of a beautiful tradition!

If you’re still looking for an Easter Treat – check this out. We delivered to our friends yesterday, but you could still make and take with you on Sunday to your Easter Celebration. Such an easy and festive snack.

If you still need a few last minute Easter basket ideas – run fast to a Target near you. That dollar aisle will get you every time!  Of course, I’m not a huge fan of the giant stick of bubbles with a one and two year old, but they were cute so I threw them in.

Look how cute this card is. I ran across it this week and can’t stop singing the song. We normally attend the contemporary service at our church.  I’m wondering if we need to go to the traditional service this week just so we can sing this song.  …….with a mighty triumph o’er His foes.

Even though Easter came early this year, we’ve been enjoying our decorations since I took down AB’s bday celebration! My brother teases me by saying my house always looks like an Easter Egg. I will say it might be one of my favorite occasions to decorate  just because of the colors. After Sunday, we will have to find something else to fill the shell with. PB will be so sad he has nothing to throw on the ground 50 times a day and “hunt.”

Happy Good Friday everyone! As we are all hunting eggs and worrying about what we are wearing to church, let’s not forget the real reason for the season. I feel like that should be the saying for this “holiday” as well.

Hosanna, He is risen!

  1. That is a gorgeous card! We go to a more traditional service so I’m pretty sure that will be on the list for Sunday. Thanks for sharing!

  2. The jelly beans in the shell is SUCH a good idea! You took your normal home decor and made it Easter friendly haha. I also don’t really care for those huge bubble tubes because they never blow the best bubbles – but they are always cheap and my daughter loves them.

Stopping over from the linkup and hope you can hop over to my blog as well. Totally must know what setting you take your photos on because the lighting is PERFECT! Hope you have a wonderful Easter!
