Five on Friday – Friday Favorites

FRI-DAY! Hallelujah! Being out of town all last weekend threw me off…big time. So much that we started off the week with no milk, no toilet paper, and about three things in our fridge. We were so tired Sunday when we got home neither of us cared. Our kids can’t live without 5 gallons of milk a week, so that was taken care of Monday morning, but it took until Thursday to get toilet paper. #Don’tAsk #MyMomIsShakingHerHead #GoodThingWeHaveWetWipesInBulk!

Thankfully we are here all weekend.  I can play catch-up and actually go to the grocery store alone to stock up on everything I forgot when I placed my online grocery order!

Just like every Friday, I’m linking up for Friday Favorites and Five on Friday

ONE:
This quote pretty much sums up our life right now. PB has been a late talker, but now that he’s using more words, he likes to use the same ones over and over and over and over! For the past week or two, mom mom mom mom mom mom comes out of his mouth for minutes at a time no matter how many times I answer. A little dorky mom humor, but I thought this was funny when I ran across it.

TWO:
Because I know half of you don’t read my blog any other time during the week – click HERE to see our pictures from last weekend. Fun times in Brady with friends. It’s PB’s happy place, and AB is just along for the ride. PB kept saying “donny, neigh neigh.” I think he was trying to say, “Donny, buy me a horse!” #CityCowboys

THREE:
This one is random, but it’s my absolute favorite and something I can’t live without. I really can’t remember if I’ve shared them before or not, but when my neighbor commented on how dark I was this week, I knew I needed to share. L’oreal Tan Towels are my favorite “fake tan.” I use two tan towels once a week to keep from being the color of MDub’s white button down shirts. When I say that I am white, I mean, super white. I will sweat to death in jeans before putting on shorts just to keep Mdub from being embarrassed. And since there’s not much “laying out” in the summer with two toddlers, I hardly ever get any color. I use these all summer long!

FOUR:
The One Room Challenge is coming along nicely. Nothing like a good, slow progress. Just a few finishing touches and then waiting on a baby. Click HERE to see what the room looks like right now with the rocker and crib.

FIVE:
I’ve shared our love for all kinds of pajamas on this blog before. Why are bathed kids all lotioned up the best? Especially if the pajamas are snug. For some reason, those are the best. So, I know I’ve been the biggest advocate for Kickee pants, and I do still love them, but, my wallet loves these old navy ones just as much. For Easter I got PB a pair with trucks on them, and he begs to sleep in them every night. So much so that I went back and got another pair exactly like them. Well, Miss Crazy is finally big enough to wear some I bought her back at the first of the year. Nothing like a few curls, some flamingos, a scab on your chin, and a stuffed chick in your hand. IMG_2151IMG_2146

Happy, Happy Friday, Friends. We are READY for the weekend around here. One million things on our to-do list around the house, and I bet a whole 2 of them get accomplished. Oh, and I bet a lot more Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Moms……….
