It’s Friday – can I get an amen? This week has been crazy, very crazy. The kids and I drove to Rotan on Monday because of a work event close by. PB & AB got to stay all week in Rotan, and I got to drive and drive and drive. Ok, it wasn’t that bad, but Tuesday was awful. 500 miles later, a couple of volunteers visited, and back home by midnight.
Even though I have a ton of work to be done, I’m dreaming of the beach. Maybe it’s because I just had an hour long conversation with friends about an upcoming trip. Either way, I’m obsessed with a few beach things right now.
How cute is this bag? I ran into Target last night to get a couple of necessities, and, of course, this tote was screaming at me. It comes in a couple of other fun colors, too. Who doesn’t love a giant tassel? Get in my basket!
As I turned the aisle for my “necessities,” I saw this CU-TE dress in the teen section. It just hopped in my basket as I thought it would make the perfect cover up. Ok, on to get deodorant, toothpaste, and bottled water then to checkout as Mdub is already texting asking where I am. A quick stroll through the toddler clothes, and OMG, the same dress. Right now my mom is so excited, and my friends are shaking their heads of embarrassment. The same dress in toddler sizes! AB and I will be matching all summer long!
In our conversation about our upcoming beach trip, Kelsey told us we HAD to get the kids these sunglasses. At first I didn’t think much about it, ok sure, they’re cute. But then she said they are guaranteed NOT to break. Sold! Can they also come with a chip in them so that we won’t lose them? PB and AB will be stylin…..if they will keep them on!
Not real beachy, but how fun is this wrapping paper? With Mother’s Day and four birthday parties in the next two weeks, I needed new paper. One trip to Home Goods, and I’m now stocked up. Flamingos, stripes, and pineapples have my heart!
Did y’all see baby Griffin’s nursery on Tuesday? Click HERE to see all the photos. His room was complete about a month ago, and I’m finally sharing it. Black and white with pops of green – you know, just like any traditional boy nursery would be!
Here’s our week in review – farmers market, Ikea, front porch fun (please don’t make fun of my 3 chins, but PB’s face is cute!) and then the kids’ Rotan fun!
Have a great weekend – try not to let this happen!!!
