Five on Friday – Friday Favorites

I’m linking up just like every week for Five on Friday and Friday Favorites. I don’t know about you, but holy cow this summer is flying by!! It seems like it was just the beginning of May and now we blinked and it’s almost August.
This has been a really fun week.
I saw this on someone’s Instagram this week and about died. Considering I haven’t stepped foot in the gym in about a year, this pretty much sums up my life right now.

Probably my most favorite of the week was celebrating eight years of marriage with this guy. Talk about blinking. It seems impossible that it’s been eight years, considering I still feel like I’m only a year or two out of college. And then I wake up to feet kicking me in the face and a kitchen filled with highchairs and I’m quickly brought back to reality. What a crazy, fun filled eight years it has been!

On Wednesday night I snuck out and went with these girls to see Bad Mom. Let me begin by saying I am NOT a movie person. I don’t even know the last movie I went to prior to this one, but OMG it was hilarious. We were rolling the entire time and we all agreed it was 100% spot on. If anyone hasn’t seen it yet, please take me with you. Yall, it was that good!

We got back last week from our trip to New York. I blogged about it Tuesday and Thursday, so if you missed it, click HERE and HERE. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back!

I stocked up on a few Christmas gifts during the Nordstrom anniversary sale and they came this week. I LOVE getting stuff in the mail even if it’s not really for me. I’m going to be so happy come December that I have teacher and babysitter gifts taken care of!

Another favorite of the week was gaining a new cousin. We haven’t exactly met her yet, but we got to hang out in the waiting room for a brief moment on Thursday while Charlotte was making her appearance. (remember that 10 minute rule?)

I hope you have a great weekend. We are at the lake for “Weathersbee Christmas,” trying to enjoy these last few weeks of summer!
