It’s finally Friday, and we are so looking forward to a weekend of absolutely nothing. Every single weekend since August, we’ve had football games that led right up to Christmas. This will be the first weekend in over five months that we actually don’t have anything on the agenda……and I plan on keeping it that way. We need a couple of weekends at home to get our lives and house organized and back on track. Garage clean out, here we come!
I haven’t done a Finally Friday with some of my favorite things in quite a while. Over the Christmas break, our family developed a few favorites we currently can’t live without. #firstworldproblems
Santa brought new water bottles to the kids, and we are in love. I think I’ve mentioned every sippy cup we are loving at the moment, and this one is big time in the lead. It’s more of a grown up sippy and does not leak at all. Let me repeat, does NOT leak!
Second – this bad boy right here. Y’all, it is the best thing ever invented for a mom of toddlers who leave behind 4 million crumbs a day. We’ve had it less than a week, and I’m pretty sure it’s only been docked to charge. It’s been running non-stop, under beds, in the kitchen several times a day, and in every bedroom. I’ve been eyeing it for quite a while, and I couldn’t be more happy with it. Grab you a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon, and go get ya one!
My mom put this little book in my stocking “Loving the Little Years“. If you have children under the age of, well, any age – go get this book now. I’m half way through – yes, it’s only 100 pages, but remember, I don’t read – and so far, it’s so good. The author has five kids all 5 and under – bless her – so she’s right in the trenches as many of us are. She talks about enjoying every single minute, and even though everyone tells you this, and it’s easier said that done, she really has a way of relating it.
During the break, I helped a family transform their playroom. When I saw these pillows, I knew they would be perfect. They’re on sale right now, and they’re even cuter in person! Perfect for a kid’s room, playroom, or even your family room. Side-note- I’m currently obsessed with tassels!
And just to leave you with something pretty – take a look at this picture I got this week. I finished this bedroom back in the fall, but, of course, taking pictures always gets pushed to the back burner. I’ll do an entire post when I get them all back, but it’s just too pretty not to share.
