Happy first week of April – also known as, the first time I’ve blogged in over a month. I know, I know – no, I didn’t drop off the face of the earth, and, no, I didn’t stop blogging. It’s just that our busy little family has just been having fun, soaking up the amazing weather, and I chose to make that a priority over this fun little blog.
However, I have a couple of fun rooms to share with you over the next week or so. Maybe that will give me some major motivation to keep this thing up!
So, if you’ve been reading this blog for more than a hot minute, you know that I’ve been working on Paige’shouse for an eternity……ok, so just two years. I’m proud to say as of today, the only room left is the laundry room…….that’s until she wakes up one day and wants to start all over. It’s the house that just keeps on giving!
This bedroom was designed for two of the sweetest sisters. They actually wanted to share a room, and their first request was bunk beds. As much as I cringe when those words are spoken, it does leave a lot of room for late night dance parties on that fantastic rug!
The main reason I’m not a huge fan of bunk beds is because changing the sheets and making the bed each morning is just THE WORST. Well, after some major researching, we came across the absolute best product out there – Beddy’s!They zip up basically like a sleeping bag and all your sheets stay sung and tight. A super easy way for any kid to “make the bed.”
The hanging swing is the perfect place to cuddle up with their latest library book, and the acrylic chair will hopefully make homework a little less painful.
This room will hopefully grow with the girls and will be a place they can enjoy together!
This room is adorable and can definitely grow into a teen room for the girls. And Beddys — genius!!!
Beautiful room! I’m sure they will love it for years to come! And I’ve never heard of Beddys – how perfect for kids!!
I’d love to know the paint color you used and where you got the curtains. ❤️❤️❤️ This room!!!
