Kitchen Reno

I’m back!  After taking more than three months off, I felt it was time to get this thing back up. I’ve been more than lazy soaking up time with just two littles before a third comes in November – yep, that’s my excuse. Working, taking care of my little fam, and trying to wrap my brain around being a mom of three.

SOOO – remember that kitchen reno that started last fall? Well, it’s finally finished, and I finally had pictures taken, so I could share.

Let’s take a look back at where we started.

……and where we are today. We love how open it is and have really enjoyed having breakfast at the new “bar/counter” area.

Since we left the existing cabinets, it was driving me crazy they didn’t go all the way to the ceiling. So, we took the backsplash all the way to the top, and I think it kind of makes the room. Depending on the backsplash you choose, this is a very economical way to take your space to the next level. img_8037

The faucet and sink are the exact same we used at our first house. I loved it in that kitchen, and knew I wanted the same in this one.

We’ve really enjoyed it and this just makes our house one step closer to being “finished.” As if that will ever happen, but Mdub likes to think it will.
Did you notice I have two different barstools in some of these pics? Super long story, but the blue ones are my absolute FAV, but I only have three of them from our first house. So, we are using the white ones until I can find the fabric and have two more blues made to match!
Happy Monday !!!
