One Room Challenge – Walther Nursery Week 4

We are now in the fourth week of the One Room Challenge, and to say that we are ready for this room to be finished is an understatement. It’s one of the bigger items that needs to be checked off the baby to-do list preferably before Thanksgiving. The countdown is now on for this baby, and in less than four weeks, we get to meet the new he or she Baby Walther. The kids are ready, Mdub is ready, but I’m trying to wrap up as much work as possible; therefore I need about another 4 months instead of weeks!

Back to this sweet nursery. Remember that the gender of this baby is a surprise, thus picking colors leaves us skipping the traditional pink or blue. I saw this dresser about six months ago and  knew the tassels had to be my inspiration.

I handed over the color scheme to the most amazing artist ever who happens to be a good friend, and she worked her magic. She delivered the artwork this week, and I could not be happier. It’s full of color – just what the room needed. I”m going to keep the pictures to a minimum because I think the big reveal is so much better if you see it all at once. But, as you can see through the mirror – it’s quite fantastic!!!

Check out Jenny’s work. She is super woman in that she runs about eight businesses, has the cutest house ever, and she’s famous because she was on Storage Wars!!!

IMG_4238The mirror – the best bang for your decorating buck lately. SOOO many people are using this mirror and after hanging it, I can now tell you why. The size is great and for the the price you can’t beat it. You can find it at the best place on earth – TARGET!

So let’s take a look back and see what all I have left before baby #3 is allowed to appear!
