Project Brushy Creek was SO. MUCH. FUN – mainly because of the sweet client and also because of her sister in law – that happens to be one of my best friends ever. She is one of the reasons why I love this business so much, and the person I call when I’m stumped. Doing this project together with her was icing on the cake.
This client searched for months and months to find the perfect house. When we walked into Brushy Creek, we knew it was the one. A good ole 80’s house with good bones and great architecture, but needed some lovin’.
This is the front door view. Walking straight into the dining room isn’t ideal, but is what makes this house unique. We opened up the wall into the kitchen to make it feel larger. New floors throughout the first floor and paint changed the space dramatically.
Being able to see past the maroon carpet or the original 1980s chandelier was key for this client. It’s now an updated space she can call home! I’ve rounded up a few of the items used in the renovation – or similar!
